[Lowfer] Good daytime condx! - Antenna stabilty during rain here

Hi John:
That is what I thought would be the case, but due to my lack of
actual experience on LF, I was skiddish to say that. I do know
how 80 meters was during cycle 22 when I was running A.M. ,
daytime QSO's out to 300 miles or so were steady and sure,
night time would go out to around 700 to 1000 miles, Local
conditions instead of DX. I had an HT40 running 10 watts on
3885 KHz and worked the 300 mile path with a dipole every day.
When the cycle bottomed out; high bands went dead, low bands
stretched out, local QSO's were many times clobbered by distant
stations.
