Welcome aboard.
You'll generally find plenty of support and encouragement here for your Part 15 endeavors. Part 15
is a great way to learn about LF since most equipment is homemade and it takes real attention to
detail to have a successful beacon. Lessons learned are directly transferable to Part 5 if you
decide to go that direction.
There are a number of folks that enjoy the hunt for Part 15 beacons and appreciate that the owners
keep them on the air. The extremely low ERP makes receiving beacons at great distances a real
challenge and folks have spent years 'perfecting' their receive setups to do so.
It sounds like you're well underway on a transmitter.
