Bill and Peter,
Last night's monitoring for WM was hopeless as static crashes generally
even obliterated MP. Too bad because propagation to the west, and
presumably to the east as well, was decent. I copied Navtex station VAJ
in Prince Rupert, BC Canada on 518 kHz RTTY and an earlier note from
Steve in Oregon indicates he was hearing a bit of beacon 3OHH. Not sure
if the frequency is 190.50 or 190.520 kHz, both were reported, but even
as slow as QRSS-10 the ARGO frequency span captures both so it doesn't
really matter. The out-of-band value is surprising because the latest
beacon listing at http://www.lwca.org/sitepage/part15/ puts 3OHH in-band
at 188.541 kHz (that list cites the QTH as EN93, but Richmond Hill is at
FN03gu according to http://hamcall.net/call?callsign=VE3OHH). Perhaps
that's the frequency where "BWK" will show up soon.
Hopefully tonight will be quieter!
