[Lowfer] Problem w/ Freq Cntr

Peter,

   Little hard to diagnose anything at a distance, but maybe its ok just picking up noise when you connect the leads?
Are you using shielded cable (& does the shield test good?)
I've gone half crazy tearing gear apart only to find that the gear was fine and the problem was a bad cable.
What happens if you short the test leads?
Does it always give a reading when connected to the oscillator or is it intermittent?
