If you can do the e-field probe, that may be the simplest way out. A wire
antenna (most aren't "long" at this frequency) tuned against ground is
another possibility. In both cases, you may benefit from a coupling
transformer at the shack end to break up any ground loops and reduce the
noise.

Try it. You should be able to receive WA, VD and TAG without much trouble.
If you get seasick watching the screen, then you've got a problem. Hint:
leave the converter and the radio turned on 24/7.

My love for the Icom R75 is unbounded. Used ones are available through Ebay
in the $400 range. But there are plenty of rigs now that have LF coverage.
