I hope I'm not the only one who sees the irony in this, because it hasn't
been all that long ago that the League was staunchly in favor of stiff
requirements, and it was the OTHER side accusing them of being out of touch
and scared that loosening requirements would be unpopular with the members.
I bet the truth lies somewhere between...
