Something is definitely up ... my receiver is 40 years old, the audio
final is blown so I have to use a crystal earphone to hear _anything_, it
won't tune LF so I have to use a homemade converter, and my antenna is
just a 75' wire. Even so I can hear WWVB at 60 kHz night or day, and
Loran at 100 kHz REALLY booms in.

I'd try another receiver, if you have one. Wish I did :)
