I'll stick my neck out and assume this is a skiing reference. Didn't get it
8-(

As for my testing tomorrow... I understand that the numbers are relative and
perhaps not linear. But I suspect that they will be repeatable. I'll shoot
for about 5 miles out in all directions. Will bring the GPS so I can be sure
of the distance.

I want to get a baseline so I can tell, generally, if any adjustments
improve the situation or not.
