Ralph,
probably you tried to use the WAV file saved by Argo before having stopped
the WAV capture *and* Argo. Remember, simply pausing the capture is not enough,
you have to STOP the capture, so that the file is closed properly.
In addition, and depending on the operating system, you also have to stop Argo,
otherwise the sound card is still in use, and other sound program (e.g. the
Windows Media Player or Cool Edit) are unable to use it. This is true with
opsys and audio drivers that do not use the AC97 standard.
