Well - it certainly helps to have the vertical and all that tophat.
I just figured out the total capacity - works out to be about 380 pF
which is pretty respectable. I am using it for receive at present -
after being pleasantly surprised by the the low noise level.
Just wound a 500 uH coil to add to the vertical portion.
Let's see - f = ?
