All seriousness aside...

There are religions that will not allow you to take pictures because the
picture removes part of the soul. I think an argument can be made that part
of the soul is taken to turn the light on or off.

Of course, I'm the kind of guy who sits in closets with mirrors chewing
Wintergreen Life Savers. I can jut imagine what all that Ultra Violet is
doing to my jaw.

Back on topic...

I once helped a local ham DF a noise in a fairly urban neighborhood. The
offending light dimmer turned out to be about 4 blocks away. The owner was
nice (concerned, actually) and my friend paid for a modern dimmer. We told
the owner that it was radiating so much noise that the new dimmer will save
on his electric bill.
