If the receiver has a line output, the level should be similar to what the
sound card is expecting on its line input. I'd vote for a 1:1 transformer.
Given the relatively low audio levels and limited frequency response, a
transformer designed for 600:600 ohm telephone use would be fine. If you are
going to put it in a box or otherwise mount it, consider a little testing
first, as these things can pick up hum from nearby power transformers, etc.
Don't worry about terminating it in a specific impedance... just connect it
between the two devices.

And please note that my advice would be totally different for broadcast or
pro audio applications!
