Hi Allen

Have 23 logbooks active in LogPlus with about 100000 qsos with no
problem,
but also looking at Turbolog and Swisslog.
There has however never ever been made a logging programme that is even
close to LogPlus so it is hard to leave it!
Is the date problem really a LogPlus problem and not a computer problem?
I am running LogPlus version 4.7. There was a big database change with
version 4.

  Hello, Steve here, Radio N2VPI
I purchase LogPlus back in the late 1990s.
It is version 3.46 and runs on my old DOS Computer
(which I have nothing else on but LogPLus.)
It is a great program and my log
(nearly 3000 QSOs) is still in LogPlus.
But.. I see that it is no longer supported.
I was off the air from 1999 until recently (CQWW 2007).
My LogPlus doe not recognize the year
as being in the 2000s but is in the 1900s
(EX 02/02/2008 is recognized as 02/02/1908).
This messes up all the DXCC entities for example German stations
worked in "07 or 08" are considered as Old 1907 1908 Germany
Is there any way to fix this Y2K problem please?
I still have my original software disk 3.5 floppy
and the original manual... but no help there.
I have transferred my entire log into a Microsoft Database
which I maintain on another computer but after a contest
or period of operation, I have to update my backup
database and change all the new 2000- 2008 QSOs
from 1900-1908 to 2000-2008 manually and one at a time.
Please is there a new Logging program which you recommend
into which I can import my LogPlus Logbook.DBF file
(only AFTER fixing the Y2K problem first of course).
I am so afraid of losing my Logbook...
I remember all the work it took to get my
paper logs into LogPlus back in the 1990s.
Please any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated
Thank you so much
Steve Wamback N2VPI
