[LOGic] Com port locks up still

I think Logic uses a commercial library for the serial communications...

I doubt Dennis wrote code from scratch... way too much trouble... OTOH, 
Logic has been around for a long time.<

Do you have a regular (Non-Usb) serial port on your machine?
