Non-USB serial port ? Surely you jest ! HI Actually, yes, I do but it
defeats the purpose of the MK. You were quite right about the USB response
time. It was set for standard with options for fast and very fast - I chose
fast. So far after an hour and a half, no problems with the com port
(virtual) holding. I just worked Easter Island on 20M CW and it worked just
fine. I'm going to just keep it on for the evening and dare it to burp ! HI

I think Logic uses a commercial library for the serial communications...
I doubt Dennis wrote code from scratch... way too much trouble... OTOH,
Logic has been around for a long time.<
Do you have a regular (Non-Usb) serial port on your machine?
