I would think that manually requesting spots would be more of a pain the
original problem that was explained.

Are you saying that a person would have to Manually request spots to be
transferred to the spotlog??

Instead of adjusting the time interval, just uncheck the "Timer Enable" box.

If you do this, it will be necessary to manually request spots.
