Paul,
I use the byterunner 4 port serial card in my XP system.
To find out which port corresponds to which connector, go to Device Manager,
and look under VScom Multi IO cards. Double click on your card. A
properties window will appear. Click on the Advanced tab, the window shows
the mapping of the connectors to your serial ports.
For all of this to work, you should have installed the XP drivers. They are
available from the Byterunner web site. I believe there is a driver for the
card itself, then a driver for each serial port. Easy to install.
