[Logic] Rotor setting

Hi all,

Not knocking the technology of automatic rotor control, but it
does have limitations especially in DXing. For real long haul
stuff, sometimes a skewed path, from a very unexpected direction
will yield the greatest signal. Another example is backscatter.
Yesterday, CY9DH came on 10M and started working a pileup.
When I pointed right at him he was gone. When I pointed SE
his signal came up and I worked him on BS.

Your mileage may vary,

Ken AB5A

Sante,

you did not mention how you control your rotator (hardware) and what you
have for a rotator. If it is SARtek controller, here are my settings:

Rotor 1: SARtek 1B
Port: COM2
Baud Rate: 1200
Stop Bits: 1
Description: G-800SDX
Reverse: Selected

Rotor 2: (none)

Try selecting: Reset Radio & Rotor Interfaces.
