Editors.

As we all know, our country, the United States, was attacked when two =
air liners crashed into the World Trade Center, another crashed into the =
Pentagon and a third crashed in Pennsylvania, killing over 3000 =
Americans and others,one year ago on September 11, 2001.  WE CANNOT =
FORGET IT! =20

On Wednesday, the first anniversary of this terrible and disgusting =
tragedy, Macomb American legion Post #6, will let us remember this =
horrible event by placing the "Flags of Love" in Chandler Park.  There =
will also be a ceremony in the park starting at 10 A.M.  Everyone is =
invited to attend.

On that day, I would like to see every resident of McDonough County =
display our flag, the American flag, at their homes and on their =
vehicles.  It also has been suggested on the internet that we drive with =
headlights on and wear red, white and blue.

It's only a small thing we can do, but let all of us in McDonough =
County, in our own small way, show that we will not forget September 11, =
2001.
