The following is an update from SpaceX:
"SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, July 18 at 9:40 p.m. PT (04:40 UTC on July 19) for a Falcon 9 launch of 15 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. If needed, an additional launch opportunity is also available at 10:30 p.m. PT (05:30 UTC on July 19). Backup opportunities are also available on Wednesday, July 19 at 9:14 p.m. PT (04:14 UTC on July 20) and 10:05 p.m. PT (05:05 UTC on July 20)."
It is unclear if this launch will occur soon enough after sunset to be illuminated by the Sun at high altitude. If the sky is clear, the event could be visible for hundreds of miles.
