[Laser] Interesting Question.

I am familiar with the hum , and currently belong to a hum discussion group.
So far there have been no solid theories, measurements, not even reasonable
speculation as to the source. The research has been completely random with
useless results. I have at least found the cause of the hum that I hear, an
interaction between the eyes and the perception of sound which may entirely
be nerve damage, but the coincidence of seeing the flicker while hearing the
hum prompted me to inquire as to the possibility of there being a light
source interacting.

I guess what I am wondering, since many people here experiment with light
receivers and filters, if anyone has noticed a near constant pulsating in
the ambient light of a low frequency that isn't manmade, sort of like
pulsars creating radio signals in space. If so, I'll build a receiver for
that wavelength\frequency and see if it coincides.
