[Laser] RE: Laser Activity in June VHF Contest

Hi Walt and everyone,

Walt, it sure sounds as though you are very close to being ready.  I would
love to be ready myself but that just will not happen.  I have done some
looking around for parts trying to figure out what I need but right now I
have no laser hardware to speak of.  There are still a few things to do on
the microwave equipment but that stuff is very close.  Too many trips for me
in the last 3 months to get it all done!  I will be operational through 10
GHZ for the June Contest but I will be running from home near Evergreen
Collage in SE San Jose.

If the line of sight from Hwy 35 only extends to about Moffett Field then I
would be too far south anyway.  I would be more then interested in joining a
group construction project to build laser equipment for the September
Contest.  I might also run portable for September and not operate from the
home QTH.

I'll be looking for all of you on as many bands as possible during the June
Contest.
