[Kenwood] Fw: TS-850 Audible Whine

Well, it definitely was the fan. I patched in a 12VDC, 0.29 amp fan I had of
the same exact size, and it started running right away. Applied voltage
measured was 7.1 VDC. Also, when put into transmit, the voltage went up to
8.8VDC. Very interesting. So, if all is running correctly, the TS-850 fan runs
all the time. I do have the manual, and am about to look (the manual is pretty
crappy by the way...like an archeological dig.....).
