[Kenwood] TS-430S Question

This is a known problem and happened to me years ago.
It is apparently caused by 'dry switching' - no current on the contacts when
switching.
There is a simple solution which I believe was recommended by Kenwood and
puts a small current in the circuit. I performed the mod on mine and it
resolved it permanently.
I can't remember the details, and I sold the rig some time ago but I'm
pretty sure you can find it in several places, inlcuding mods.dk

Good luck
