[Kenwood] TS850 and SB200

Pat, not to get things confused, I'm not the person with the SB200 and TS 
850. I was just commenting that the 12 volt relay on the 850 and the 120 
volt relay on the SB200 (unless modified to work??) will need an amp 
interface of some sort.

Before I became a member of our local club, a TS 430 was hooked up directly 
to an SB220. And the repair bill for the TS 430 was over $400.

That was all I was referring to.

i own the TS850 and the relay is 12 Volts and you have a little switch on 
the rear side of thye
TS850 to commute, if you do that you will here it working when you transmit. 
Mine is working
with the Ameritron AL-811 but you need to make a cable for the commutation.
BE VERY CAREFULL with the voltage on tube amps !!!! If you have to work on 
it, disconnect
the amp from the power voltage a few days before you open it and than put a 
cable from
high voltage caps to ground and let this cable like that during all the time 
you work on it !!!
