[Kenwood] Noise blanker on TS-450

The noise blanker on my 450 has no effect on the signal.
Any comments, or suggestions? I have a sound card O'scope running and
can look at the audio and see the notch moving when I tune it, but
notice no change when in any of the noise blanker positions.

One other comment: I put up a homebrew Windom a few weeks ago and am
amazed at how well it performs. 90 feet on one end, 45 on short end.
Homebrew 4:1 balun with a choke balun at ground level. Wire is 35 feet
up.
