[Kenwood] TS-940S Bulbs

For those that were looking for replacement lamps for the TS-940S, Burghardt 
Amateur Supply had them listed on their web site. An email to them got a 
reply that the bulb has been replaced with a Yaesu PL000003 at $2.19 each. 
They do have them in stock as of today.  I can't vouch for this lamp as 
being a direct replacement, nor find any info about it on the web.  I would 
be interested in hearing from others about it.  I do have a couple spare 
lamps left but might want to get a few more.  I put two in when I first got 
my 940 a year and a half ago, and then had one of those two go out on me a 
couple months ago.  I hope that was a fluke.

One downside to Burghardt is there is a nominal $9.99 shipping charge on 
orders under 10 lbs.  Thus, if you buy a half dozen lamps (two for now and 
four for spare, for example), it's about $13 for the lamps and another ten 
bux for shipping!  Ouch!  Considering they are going to put these in a 
little envelope and mail them to you, that's a bit stiff.  It might be good 
to get some extra PL-259's or something at the same time and spread that 
shipping charge out a bit.
