PLL unlock. One (or more) or of the PLL's is probably at the edge of its lock
range or is intermittant. All of the PLL lock signals are AND'ed at a single IC
, and if any one of them is unlocked, you get the PLL unlock/dots-at-the-bottom
indication. Without getting in there with the service manual, it's impossible to
tell which PLL is the problem. With a service manual and VOM, it's pretty easy
to find out which PLL is the problem, and to align that PLL.
