Battery PB-42L I was attempting to use this battery after charging was complete and after 1 or 2 transmission the radio would shut down. I check battery charge status, contact points (and cleaned them wtih alcohal and tried again, same thing happened again....After examining the back of battery case I found two fine cracks one running from the top left hand corner of the battery to the center area where the small circle is (it appears to stop there) and then another crack starting on the other side and almost going down to lower right hand corner of the battery. I wonder if anyone has seen this on the Kenwood battery's for this radio, I have never drop this battery or the radio since I had it. Any comments or inputs appreciated. Mac
