[Kenwood] TS 2000 repeater problem

I have a week old TS 2000 and after programming my favorite local 2m 
repeaters, along with the PL tones and correct offsets. The only repeaters I 
can access are the repeaters with no pl tones at all. Is it possible I got a 
lemon with a bad tone board in it from the factory? Any ideas?
