[Kenwood] No Vox HELP!

I don't know about the VOX problem, maybe the vox gain is turned up too 
high, I would turn it all the way down and see what it does.
I do know that on my TS-950SD/AT that when I plug in a paddle it will 
not key the 950 unless I hook a clip lead from the paddle ground to the 
950 chassis ground so you may try that. I just ground it at the carrying 
handle.
Hope you find your problem, I have had my 950 for 14 or 15 years, it is 
an outstanding rig.
