[Kenwood] TS-930 No Output on 17 or 24 Meter bands

I have a TS-930 which has NO OUTPUT on 17 or 24 meter bands and full output on all other bands including 30 meters.  The output problem seemed to appear after the units tuning direction was changed to "clockwise".  I would appreciate inputs on possible causes particularly ones related to the chnage in tuning direction.  (I believe that involved exchanging wires from the shaft encoder).
