[Kenwood] VFO-240 on TS-530S problem

The 530S does not have a XVERTER connection. Only EXT VFO and REMOTE. It =
is plugged in the EXT VFO plug.=20

Sounds like you are plugging the cable into the wrong
DIN connector on the 530. The XVRTER connector has a
switch located behind the connector which opens the
normal receive line when a plug is installed. Double
check which connector you are using and make sure it
the one for the external VFO. BTW, I have a TS-830S
with a VFO-240. GL...
