[Kenwood] VFO-240 on TS-530S problem

RE:same frequency range - I do not know. I know the VFO-240 is the
analog VFO for the TS-530s (specified in the 530s Manual), and the
remote frequency sure looks right on the 530s digital display.

A claim has been filed on this by the seller (it was insured). I assume
it will be reimbursed. My main concern is whether my 530 is working
properly if I buy another one..

Hi Bill --
Did the 520/530s and the 830 use the same VFO frequency range? Seems=20
like there might have been a bit of a difference.

Also, with that much damage, you might want to go ahead and make a=20
claim on the shipping damage since they used it as a basketball.

Good luck and 73,
