[Kenwood] at-250 help needed

    Hello Isaac, I have two guesses: one is that there is a kind of 
short (can you measure any power between the output of the tuner and 
load, during the tuning process?) in the RF path; the second, is that 
there's a bad relay, suspect first at the higher bands ones, it could 
have closed contacts in what's to be supposed normally open.
Anyway, if your antennas are ok, the tuner must find a match and motors 
must stop working (the same if you try a "tune" into a dummy load). But 
if the output path is open or shorted, the tuner will see a very high 
SWR regardless of output socket used (and whatever load is connected to it).
Check also for a correct value of  tuning output power.
Which bands are affected?,  all?.
