 Larry, I know you and I are in different countries, but the Amateur Radio
regulations in both our countries are so similar, one could almost say
they're a mirror image. Are you sure about the above statement?
I know for a fact, here in Canada, it's an offense against the Radio Act, to
POSSESS, let alone use, any Amateur Radio transmitting equipment without the
appropriate licence.
Unless the regulations in Canada have been changed and I'm not aware (I'm a
volunteer examiner), I stand to be corrected. Also, I'm not up to snuff on
US regs.
I know, totally off topic, but my curiousity has been peaked!!!!
