[Kenwood] F6A rubber duck-broken?

I have had a few die quickly...mostly SMA's.

They are really only designed to be inserted/removed so many times, and the
center conuctor actually wears down to the point where it stops making
contact...

On the Kenwoods, this leads to a loss of signal....on the Icoms, it can
toast the output!
