[Kenwood] SW-2000 meter

Hi Mark; About 15+ years ago I purchased a SW-2000 with the SW2 UHF/VHF and SW3
HF coupler. The SW3 has always read high. (compared to several Bird's with
various slugs and an Autek WM1). I got mad last week and decided to resolve the
matter. I'm no closer. The operators manual I have has the schematic but no
calibration instructions. I borrowed a SW1 HF coupler and it reads ok although
it is limited to 200 watts. The big item are the switches on the back which
select the type of coupler. On the SW1 and SW2 they react per the manual. With
the SW3 the reading stays the same. About 30 watts too high. Plus the Avg/PEP
switch changes the calibration , increasing the reading by another 20 Watts. Not
so with the other two when using a steady carrier and into a Bird 500 Watt load.
I was going to post this today but you beat me to it. So if any one out there
has a SW-2000 with these couplers and can verify that my SW3 is reacting either
ok or not ok I would very much like to hear from them. Also I would appreciate a
copy of the service manual with the cal instructions. Aside from the 4 pots in
the indicator box there are two pots in the couplers that control their output
calibration. Maybe between the two of us we can get enough answers to satisfy
