According to my SM-220 Manual, the TS-900 series needed the
BS-5 which was to be connected from the NB unit X54-1040-10,
pin 31, through a 1000pf cap.

The manual does not get any more specific than that, however.
On my TS-940 it is connected directly to the IF-2 jack on the back
panel.
