[Kenwood] difference between ts-440 and ts-450

 I had an IC-746 and liked the receive on the TS-450 better.
The 746 had DSP (Kind of) and also an FL-223 1.9kc SSB
filter and was still noisy! The 450 is nice and quiet with
out the installed 1.8KC SSB filter (It's real nice when you
need it though). I still hear as good or better than the
746. As compared to the TS-440 the TS-450 has a bit better
filtering and a bit better Noise floor. The later AIP leaves
a bit to be desired as it cuts the audio level down somewhat
but does it's job quite well notwithstanding. I traded off
the IC-746 and will stay with the TS-450SAT Thank You very
much. Just my $0.02.
