Gosh, Ray. No, I don't know... Please excuse me if I'm jumping to
conclusions, but it appears from your post that he wants to use the radio to
illegally transmit out of band, and is getting help from from you to set
that up. If so, this might not be the right list for that kind of thing.
Maybe you and he could try the CB newsgroups, where you might find folks
more in tune with your interests. Most people on this list are responsible
licensed operators who use their transmitters legally.
