[Kenwood] Battery backup...

  Greetings. A neighbor of mine bought a TS-60, the 6m all-mode mobile radio. He has a couple of questions...

  1) If the 12v is disconnected for any length of time, the memories all disappear. The book mentions a lithium battery, but
no part numbers, so I suspect that it's drained. Does anyone have a part number, or generic type, that I could put in for
him? (and where is it?)

  2) He knows that it can listen out of band, but he's interested to see if it can, er, uh, well, you know. :-) I can't find
anything at qrz.com that, uh, mentioned anything on the TS-60.

  Hints and tricks, directly please. :-)
