[Kenwood] Another TS-940 Problem

Jim - I also own a Kenwood TS-940.  Not sure on the first part(s) of your
issue, but the question "the fan on my 940 will come on even when I'm not
transmitting"...to me this is normal.  As I recall, the 940 has two fans...one
on the power supply and one on the finals...if I turn mine on & leave it on for
a period of time a fan does turn on...I'm assuming this is the power supply
fan....there are times the fan will continue to run even when I turn the unit
off...I'm assuming this is to cool the power supply or the finals down...that's
OK by me.  I see no issue with this.
