[Kenwood] SM220 Scope.

Well, I'm still learning, but I have purchased a SM220 scope for my TS830S.
The manual seems to me to be very vaugh on what a person needs to look for
on his own signal, and really on how to set up the screen to look at it and
tell if the TX signal is good or bad.  I think I need some tips on setting
it up and what to look for.

Also, this does not have the pan adapter, but you can still "see" someone
else's signal.  What does a good one look like and what does a bad one look
like?

Anyone out there recommend getting the pan adapter?

I would appreciate some coments or tips on this.
