Sorry about the long delay in replying Fred. It's a normal CR 2032 3 volt =
Lithium coin cell, as used in Psions as a back-up battery and other small =
electronic devices. But it's the version with two tabs for soldering in.
Waters & Stanton (a UK Ham retailer) charge 3=BD times the price of the one =
in this computer.
It's mounted on the PCB that is placed vertically between the surface of =
the removed front panel and the diecast chassis. It's well hidden below =
the plastic that supports the front panel, on the side of the PCB facing =
the front.
