Hi, all concerned:

Fella here in Cincinnati bought my good old TS-440S, and AFAIK, wasn't
interested in the accessories listed below, which I couldn't find anyway,
before he came in, because they were buried somewhere in still-packed moving
boxes. The stuff is in good physical and electrical shape, EAN.

In any case, the accessories I found are:

1. The automatic tuner, which needs a Kenwood or an Amidon replacement
(~1-inch o-d, h-f mix, which I didn't find) toroid core for the 40M coil.
It works as-is -- but the coil overheats, even into a 50-ohm dummy load.
Cheap and easy fix, but sloth engendered and encouraged by low
band-occupancy levels has overcome my enthusiasm for making it into a remote
tuner. With schematic copied from item 2.
The tuner logic is similar to the auto-tuners published in Q-STreet
recently, and out to the last 10 years. I soldered wires to the
band-switch and power connector pins as I began the remote-tuner project.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.

2. The *Kenwood* repair manual. $30 shipped conus.

3. YK-88CN 270-Hz c-w filter, which also fits '940s and maybe others. $70
shipped conus.

I don't have pix cuz I don't have access to a non-linear ;o) camera.

Tks for reading.
