[KCDXC] K0RU Resigns

Mr. Secretary and General Membership,

 

After careful consideration of last night's meeting for the KCDX Club with
discussion evolving around the use of Laptops and Pen / Paper for the CW
Pileup Contest arguments or dictatorship methodology being used by the
current club  President I find it necessary for me to resign my membership
with the KCDX Club.   I wish not to bring further embarrassment upon myself
of other members.  This is not what a club is all about.

 

With all due respect to its members it's been a wonderful experience dealing
with each and every member and sharing ideas and items related to Amateur
Radio.  It truly has been an exciting experience for myself.

Getting the chance to meet new friend and experience wonderful adventures
with DX Expeditions and different approaches to antenna installations, radio
configurations etc. is what Ham Radio is all about and really enjoyed the
chance to share that with everyone.

 

However, I do not feel I can make any further contributions to the KCDX Club
without creating some embarrassment on my part or any of its membership due
to my feelings and commitments to Ham Radio in general.

 

I enjoy getting on the air and meeting new friends, meeting them in person
is even more exciting.  But being a part of the KCDX club is supposed to be
in lighting, inspiring and overall exciting of an experience.  I don't
believe that is the case for me and I'm truly sorry.

 

At this time, please consider my membership with the KCDX Club as being
terminated.
