I had the real opportunity to see the "REAL ALEX" last night at the club
meeting as did the rest of the membership present.  I must say I was not
impressed at all with his Dictatorship method of leadership,

Nor do I believe was the rest of the club members who were present.   He has
"DEMANDED" that we only utilize a LAPTOP for the contestant to use for
copying the CW during the CW pileup contest and

Is refusing to allow the utilization of paper and pencil as an alternative.
Absolute stupidity in my opinion we are trying to inspire new membership and
more participant in the CW PILEUP CONTEST and I believe this will just
formulate a barrier for which some of the existing contestants of the past
may not participate but also newcomers will not for fear and intimidation of
the laptop and software. NOT everyone can type for one, however not everyone
will be familiar with the CTRL-this and CTRL-that type of bullshit during
the middle of the contest to edit, adjust, correct, retype, what the hell
ever during the heat of the battle of trying to copy the calls.   Paper and
Pencil should be offered as an alternative ALWAYS and forever regardless of
the judges desires.  Just simply make it perfectly clear at the beginning of
the copy, if 1 letter of a call cannot be clearly defined then that call is
DISQUALIFIED, pretty simple if you ask me.

 

My sincere apologies  for any negative attitude I may have imposed upon you
for your opinion towards Alex.  I believe now you had every reason to stand
your ground

With regard to how Alex reacted in the past with issues related to the
check, club members, and other matters related to the club etc. 

 

The reason for which I'm sending you this email direct is I don't have or
know how to post it on the KCDX Club Reflector and I don't have access to
other reflectors related to the club as well for the rest of the membership
to see.  I wish for you to post this message on any and all reflectors for
me to #1 show my sincere apology for issues of the past.  #2 make available
to all members who were not present at the club to see exactly what is
taking place with regard to the CW PILEUP CONTEST.  Many members who were
present at the club meeting clearly disagreed with Alex on this subject
however it would appear that he is not listening to the membership at all.
