Hi Pete, I got an error, "Error, No recipient was specified for this
message. It can not be delivered" when I used the form to send the opening
email. Hummmm, Oh well this works too.
I have been watching this site for awhile. I finally got around to scanning
in my TI photos. I was at ET-A starting 10 July 64. My call at the time was
K7LNQ and I was from Salem, Oregon.
Visit the photos at: http://www.ussstoddard.org/k6ncg.htm
I have created several websites that are Navy related.
www.ussstoddard.org <--- went here after ET school
www.ptfnasty.com <---- became fascinated with these boats while in DaNang
www.warboats.org <--- spin off of PTF site to include all small boats.
And for fun a group of us have purchased this 83 footer. See her story at:
http://www.warboats.org/cg83527.htm
If you want to re-live Bootcamp in the 60's visit:

Here is a diary of the WesPac cruise after ET School:

Of the guys that I was at ET school with I have only kept track of Don Stone
and George Burton. Just names in the wind no doubt to the rest of the world.
Thanks for doing the work on this site. I know how it feels to go for long
stretches without a response from anyone out here.
What's weird is that I can still hear the cadence that the teletype machine
made in the ham shack, hammering out K6NCG when playing the CQ paper tape.
And so it goes.
