WELCOME
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM EDT by Pres. Andy WO3L with a welcome to the membership present. Around the room quick individual introductions. A business meeting is scheduled for today's general club meeting. Secretary Pat N8PK sent a sheet around for each person to please sign in. See below. Fifteen members present plus Andy (who often misses the sign-in sheet for some reason) and no guests today. Additional note: Seven out of the 15 members present noted on the sign-in sheet that they owned a Raspberry Pi single board computer.

MEETING MINUTES
The draft minutes of the April meeting (last month's') were sent out to the club e-mail reflector by N8PK on Tue April 12, and can be seen with the member sign-in sheet at http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/k3pzn-list/2016-April/007253.html which was amended at this meeting to correct a typo for the date of this meeting today. The minutes of the most recent BoD meeting can be found at this link: http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/k3pzn-list/2016-May/007271.html

9600 BAUD PACKET BACK UP PRE-PROPOSAL
Tony KF3AK says WN3R is offering a spot on his tall mountaintop tower in Frederick County to be used for a UHF RMS (radio message system) application. The offer includes space/volume, power, Internet connection, environmental protections and existing antenna through a duplexer. If there is sufficient club support for set up, maintenance and operation then a proposal will be formed for club membership review and approval for resources of club and member equipment use plus funding of an amount TBD.

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER
Steve describes a basic set up is possible with a hamstick (good coverage on 40m and above) at the Carroll County EOC. Doug Brown asks us where exactly we would want to place the ICOM 46pro there. Tony and Steve have solid ideas.
